Who a call helps, and who should stay put.
Book a call if
- You are 1099 or self-employed.
- Your COBRA is ending.
- You are retiring before 65.
- You pay full price with no subsidy.
- Your deductible is more than you could absorb.
- You own a business and your own household has no plan.
Keep what you have if
- You get a meaningful premium tax credit.
- You have a good employer plan.
- You are on Medicare.
- You have an active, significant condition. Underwriting would likely decline, and the marketplace is the right answer. We will say so.
More than one kind of health plan.
We offer major medical plans, private health plans, PPO options, short-term medical, group health plans for small businesses, and many other kinds of plans. We work with multiple carriers so we can look for a fit.
UnitedHealthOne, Allstate, and Pivot Health are among the carriers we use. Not every product is available in every state.
UnitedHealthOne plans are underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company. TriTerm Medical is short term, limited duration insurance and is available in select states. These plans are not ACA marketplace plans, are not minimum essential coverage, and some provide limited benefits only. Underwritten plans can decline an applicant. Review the carrier's plan documents for exclusions and limitations before you apply.
What to have ready.
- Doctors you want to keep.
- Your prescriptions.
- Your current plan and premium, if you have one.
- Birthdays for everyone in the household.
Most clients also ask about life and disability. We can cover it on the same call.
Need an ACA or Medicare plan? We can help with that too. Book a call.
