Careers at Branded Insurance Group

Join the team

I am building a life and health brokerage with people who want to do this properly. That means real training, real carrier contracts, and being told the truth about what the work actually involves.

Who This Is For

Two kinds of people

Already licensed

Experienced life and health agents

You have your license and you have written business. What you want is better support and a place where the phone gets answered.

  • Carrier contracts across health, life and supplemental
  • Underwriting help on cases that are not straightforward
  • Product routing when a client does not qualify for the obvious plan
  • Sales training that is about listening, not pressure
  • A team that talks to each other during the day
Not licensed yet

Serious about starting out

You have not taken the exam yet but you want a real career in this, not a side hustle you abandon in six weeks.

  • Guidance on getting your resident license, state by state
  • Study direction so you pass the exam the first time
  • Product and underwriting training from the ground up
  • Live call reviews and coaching from day one
  • A defined ramp so you know what week four should look like
How It Works

What the first ninety days look like

  1. We talk firstA short call about what you have done, what you want, and whether this is actually a fit. Sometimes the honest answer is no, and I would rather say that up front than waste a month of your time.
  2. Licensing, if you need itIf you are not licensed, I will tell you exactly what your state requires, what the exam covers, and roughly how long it takes. That part is on you to complete, and I will point you at the right material.
  3. Contracting and trainingCarrier appointments, product training, and underwriting basics. You learn which plan fits which client before you are on the phone with anyone.
  4. Live calls, with someone listeningYou start taking calls with support on the line, then we review them. This is the part most places skip, and it is the part that determines whether you make it.
  5. Building your own bookOnce you can run a case start to finish, the work becomes consistency. That is when this starts paying like a career.

Straight about the work

This is commission-based sales. There is no salary, income is not guaranteed, and what you earn depends entirely on how much business you write and how much of it stays on the books.

The first ninety days are the hard part. Most people who quit do it before they get good, and there is no version of this where you do a little bit of work and it goes well.

If you want something predictable and salaried, this is not that, and I would rather you know now. If you want a business where the ceiling is set by you, that is exactly what this is.

Tell me where you are and I will get back to you. If it is not a fit I will say so.
